Wow, believe it or not that word is actually spelled right. It looks sooooo wrong!
Anywho
I was just thinking today that I had a bunch to do, then realized that if someone asked me what I was up to I would most likely say "Nothing".
Wanna know why? Yup, that's right. Monotony.
This morning thus far I have gotten the kids dressed, fed them, started laundry (can we say never ending task?!), straightened the kitchen, gone through a pile of crap on my counter, put stray toys where they belong, gotten a shower (I know I probably shouldn't include that but sometimes it just doesn't happen capt'n!!!), taken G to preschool, talked to the Pediatric office and the Dentist office, made plans for lunch, and made sure that M didn't wet her pants.
Yet, if someone asked what I had done I would say "Not Much... You?"
It's no wonder I feel like I get anything done! I never acknowledge that I did anything!! Because the stuff I do is soooo repetitious and non interesting nobody really wants to know.... Unless of course my day has been extreme, good or bad. then I have something to talk about.
I'm starting to understand why people think that stay at home moms do "Nothing" all day long!! It's cause they say so! :D

I have a lot of "nothing" days, but I'm busy all day long. When Jakob was first born, Pete would go to work and come home 8 hours later, and I'd be in the exact same place as when he left. He thought I actually DID nothing, until he stayed home one day and saw how busy "nothing" can be!
That is awesome! SOOO true!
It bugs me that when people ask what I have been up to lately, I have nothing new to say, but I feel like I have been so busy!! I love how honest you are in your blog!
