No idea?
Well, it's the inside of a glow bug. A glow bug that is now permanently without it's innards due to a very small little boy who has to know how things work. And not only does he need to know how they work, he will then get REALLY upset when you try to put them back together. So the glow bug remains dissected for good. :D

I think that's SO awesome that he's that curious at such a young age! I had a roommate that would take her watch apart and put it back together-working-when she was 4. Yeah, she was an engineer.
My glowworm is permanently unassembled as well. I knew exactly what your pic was of, too bad I couldn't win a prize.
EB takes after his Grandpa J. This family KNOWS -- through sometimes painful experience -- to hide anything that has awesome workings or suffer their (sometimes) demise as he takes it apart to discover just how the durned thang werks! Gpa. J. also took clocks apart and reassembled them at a very young age. Sooo, hide your clocks, Aprillium!
How interesting! He's so little - I can't believe he's already doing stuff like that! What are glow worm toys? Should I know about these??
