Isn't it interesting the assumptions that people make about others.
I find it amusing that ever since I started dying my hair punk colors teenagers now gravitate towards me... :)
Ever since I started wearing dangly earrings regularly people think I'm always put together... *snicker*
Ever since I started to exercise people think I eat right... MWHAHAHAHA
and ever since I became open about my lack of belief some people think that I'm not as worthwhile or as good of a person as I used to be ...
or at least they stopped trying as hard to hide how they felt.
That one is actually really, really sad and quite hurtful.

Dude. Whoever is making you feel that way sucks. I think you are still as good of a person. And I've been wanting to thank you for how respectful you are of others' beliefs. My sis is inactive, as you know, and she is really mean to the rest of our family who are still active. She's always telling us how stupid our beliefs are, etc. It's really frustrating. So I just wanted to thank you for respecting my beliefs, even though they aren't the same as yours. And I hope you feel that I respect you for your beliefs and decisions, because I really do.
Kar - Thanks so much for being so cool about it all. The way I figure it, if I expect other people to be understanding of my beliefs, or lack thereof, then I really have to do the same... besides... it's the only decent way to live life! :)
Who needs "friends" like that?! Dump them and surround yourself with a higher quality of friends -- those who will be supportive of you and happy for your explorations and your resultant growth. If we never questioned, we'd never learn or make new discoveries. You've always been a very quality person, very sensitive and loving and quite level headed. In short, you are a real GEM! Those who cannot see that are blind. Besides, you are fun to be with and make me laugh, even when (expecially when) I'm sad. You are my sunshine and my dear friend!
