Ok so today I went and registered Goober for Kindergarten. It was nice to know such information as when the bus is supposed to pick him up, and who his teacher is and whether he is morning or afternoon (He's morning!).
While this information was good, I find that our school seems to assume that everyone knows everything already. It was good to know that Goober is supposed to be at the bus stop at 8:02am but what time does school actually start? I totally forgot to ask, because I figured it would be on one of the many pieces of paper that they handed me when I was there. It wasn't. Can someone clue me in?
It seemed more important to let people know about the swim night that the school is sponsoring instead (which they didn't include the price of admission on). While I understand that things may be forgotten on paperwork and whatnot I get a insy bit frustrated that the supply list on the website (was wrong?) has been changed and that I'm not done getting school supplies like I had thought I was. I also feel that since I went to the Kindergarten Roundup last spring that maybe they should send me something in the mail about when registration is, how much fees are going to be, etc? Maybe I'm over demanding. I dunno. I've never had a kid old enough to be in school before.

Our morning session starts at 8:40; I would assume that it would be the same for your school as ours as we're in the same district. But you can look up our district on the web, or call the district office (or school office) and they should be able to tell you for sure.
I agree with getting info out better. I had luckily asked around about Kindergarten roundup in April the week before it happened, and was told by someone in my ward. Had I not asked, I would have missed it.

Dude, I really, really need to get on the ball. I feel like I registered Dylan already at my kindergarten roundup, but maybe not? And I agree with you on getting information out. I only found out about kindergarten roundup from my son's preschool. That sucks that you have to go buy MORE school supplies.
I am having a similar problem with preschool, they just keep saying, it starts in September, your teacher will get a hold of you, don't worry! O.K. it is less than 1 MONTH AWAY from September, it would be nice to know even what day it starts!!!
