Wow... Purple!

Ok, so as most of you know I like to change my hair... A LOT. And as most of you know I recently (like 3 months ago) chopped off almost all of my hair. Don't get me wrong, it's really cute, I like it. But it's also REALLY SHORT.

For the record... my hair grows REALLY SLOWY. Like total of 3 inches in a year. Uber frustrating when you are trying to grow it out. Which I have tried many times, failed, tried again.... fail again, and again. And finally came to the conclusion that I just LIKE short hair more. Ha!

Hence my deciding to cut it REALLY short. And dye it. Purple. Well, technically it was really dark red. But before the first 3 washes it was purplish in color.

Fast forward three months. Nasty, McNasty Roots. I have light brown (aka mouse brown) hair naturally... so when I get roots under a darker dye it's looks like I'm going GRAY. Yup that's right, gray. And not a little gray... like all of my roots gray.

So today I got an appointment with the hairstylist to fix said grayish look (yuck)and give me a trim.

and guess what?

Yup, I'm purple again. WOOT!

At least I'm not gray eh? Thank GOODNESS red fades quick... as in 3 washes quick. Cause otherwise I think I might cry. Cause purple hair that looks like it was accidental really isn't MY style(no offence people).

You're young and spunky-you could totally pull off purple! But I understand the roots thing. That's why I've never dyed/highlighted my hair-I would worry about the roots.

Yeah, roots suck. Why I stopped highlighting my hair. Just too much maintenance and money. Dylan and Ben have that mouse brown color of hair. When I cut it, it looks soooo gross on the floor. Like dead mice.

Noah, nah, nah, nah, no! The color is called "ash brown." It's my natural hair color, too. BUT, when you DO go gray (and you vill, nya, ah, ah!), you'll miss your "real" color. So enjoy it while you got it.

April's hair always looks nice. It's sorta spunky :D
