When I was little the tooth fairy came to our house when I lost teeth. It was fun to get money for pretty much nothing :)
At one point my family moved from one state to another... I was FREAKED out that the tooth fairy wouldn't be able to find me. You would have thought I would be concerned about Santa, too right? Apparently not. Apparently he was magical enough to find me no matter what. But the tooth fairy? Nope. She must not have seemed very capable... maybe it was her size... I dunno, I don't remember much about it... except the fact that my mom got inventive and showed me where the tooth fairy lived.
That's right! The tooth fairy lived in the very town that we just moved to! Amazing! She had kind of a cool house too... right next to a low bridge downtown, in a little castle like building (that is actually a pump house for making sure aforementioned bridge doesn't flood). Very fairytale like! Alright, well apparently she could find me cause she lived so close!
So this makes me curious... how did your family do the tooth fairy growing up?

I didn't know that was where the tooth fair lived, I always thought it was where the royalty of IF was...I totally wanted to live there when I was little, never mind it is probably like 100 square feet inside...Tooth Fair was never a huge deal for us, we lost a tooth got money...no biggie...
I loved that little castle thing too!! I always thought it was where the guy lived that controlled the trains (since they went right by there). That was very creative of your mom!
Wow! Did you know it was loose? I always did like that castle...
Losing teeth already? Boy oh boy!
Good work Goober! Maybe the tooth fairy will leave you a $20! You know, with inflation and all!!! ;)
I used to wrap up my tooth in toilet paper and put it in the freezer, then in the morning there'd be a dollar and a pack of gum in it's place.
I guess my tooth fairy was too lazy to wait for me to go to sleep and slip the cash under my pillow.
I love that you freaked out when you moved that the tooth fairy wouldn't be able to find you. I remember freaking out about staying up too late on Christmas Eve. I was convinced that Santa would see my family playing games and then refuse to give us presents. Pretty funny. Tooth fairy - we would put the tooth in a glass of water by our bed, and in the morning, the tooth was replaced by lots of quarters in the water. A pretty good idea - I'm such an active sleeper that a tooth and some money for sure would have been lost if left under my pillow.
