Camera
Looks like maybe it did :D Yay for not having to spend 5 billion dollars just to have it looked it! I guess the real test will be after a take a few more pictures to see if it continues to at least take decent pictures. Here's to hoping!
Update:
Yup, definitely better! Glad it was just a software issue! :D BTW this is Goober weeding grandma's flower bed to earn some moola.... he wants to buy the new Lego Harry Potter game. :D

Early Christmas
It is scratched up, banged up, and the protective shudder that is supposed to close when it is turned off sticks sometimes.

Thank You Jer!!!

Loads of Pictures!

Ummm yeah....

So then I was confused. Cause I paid for these.... where did those other pictures come from?
Well apparently I'm one of the only parents not clued in on the scheme to get my money by the schools/photography place. If I want to keep them I have to pay "X" amount of money. Thing is, I already cut them apart, then let Goober and Missy have one each. DOH!!....
Guess I'll be sending in that money, cause the ploy of sending home something with a kid that you haven't paid for and then requiring payment.... yeah, it worked on me.
*Grumble grumble grumble.*

Really? REALLY? You let me wear WHAT as a child???
Hairstyles I get. I understand that in my lifetime the same hairstyle may not come back again (hopefully.... please shoot me if the "I sprayed my bangs and ran into a wall as fast as possible" look ever tries to make a comeback.... or the full on lady mullet..... *gag*). But I have started to see some styles come back. Certain prints on shirts. The fact that tight tapered jeans are now back in style again ...
(I think they are in.... or maybe they are just on their way in... though I do pray that soon they will be on their way OUT again. Please, OH PLEASE don't let Hammer Pants ever make a comeback. EVER)
Still I have to look back and wonder why my mother allowed me to wear certain things. Or my hair certain ways.....
take this, for instance:
What kind of PANTS are those???? I know I was monstrously tall for an eleven year old, but EEEEE GADS. And WHITE.... WHITE PANTS.... Need I say more?
And here is one a couple of years later:

Needless to say I look back on most of the pictures of myself that I own and cringe. Mostly because they are all either pictures that I took (that are crap BTW cause what eleven-year-old do you know that can actually take a decent picture with a FILM camera.....) or they were pictures taken by the school. :P
Also I look at many of the pictures and wonder where that girls mother was, cause.....
EW
Watch I just jinxed myself, when my kids get to be that age I will try to step in and correct fashion faux pas and they will simply roll their eyes and continue to wear whatever they want.
Hey!!!! Wait a minute, I had two older sisters around at this point....
WHERE WERE THEY?!?! Oh yeah, I have vague recollections of one doing her hair for two hours each morning... and they other tackling me to try to pluck my eyebrows.
mmmmm explains a lot doesn't it? ;)
To the siblings and the mamacita: Love you guys, and keep in mind I have MANY bribery pictures of YOU too!!! MWHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Scanning, Scanning, and .... what the...

Ew. Anyhow, I finally decided it was time, since I'm trying to avoid other huge projects right now. You know, like de-boxing the garage so that we might actually fit a vehicle in there. I mean WHERE DID WE GET ALL THIS CRAP? Anyhow, as a way of procrastinating I decided to take care of the old pictures... starting with the ones from the 9th grade. Ugh.
I know I am a bit behind, but honestly we have never owned a scanner till recently. My parents took pity on me a few months ago, right before their trip to AZ and gave me there old one... Actually, I think that may have been more for my dad's benefit than mine. Kinda hard to scan things in from the mail and send them to AZ when you don't own a scanner, eh? :)
Anyhow, today I've been scanning photos, while going through last years filing.....
Wait. WAIT! DON'T JUDGE ME!!! I AM NOT A PRODUCTIVE PERSON. :P On the rare occasion that I do get an inkling to do stuff, gosh darnit I'd better do it! Cause it ain't happenin' again for another millennia honey.
Ok, back to train of thought....
As I'm going about minding my own beeswax, and the kids are arguing with each other in the background about who said what wrong.... I hear this noise coming from the scanner.
BWMWAWAWmmmmmmmwwwwwww ah ah ah ah
Holy mackerel is that thing going to EAT my pictures?
Nope turns out it's only a noise, no harm done to the pictures. Even the ones on the computer turned out good.
So other than that noise all is good.
Though Jer does insist that it sounds like computer constipation. niiiiiice honey.....
