If you would like to link to us go right ahead, I do ask though that if you know us in real life that you use my kids blog names if you refer to them. I don't use them in my blog or the title for safety purposes. Thanks so much!

I Hope the Neighbors Don't Hate Us.

See this monstrosity? Yeah, we finished it last night. YAY!!! I never have to work on it again in the foreseeable future. :) The kids were asleep when we finished and that tube side? WHAT A PAIN IN THE BUTT!

Needless to say I was way tired by the time we came inside. We worked on it for about 18 hours total...all of that between rainstorms, hail, and the time we needed to sleep. I konked out quick and when I got up this morning I was sore.... but I don't have to work on it ONE BIT today. Not ONE BIT! And the kids can stop pestering us about it now! Cause now they get to play on it!

Speaking of.... they are playing on it right now (before Goober has to go to school), it's not even 8am yet. They are yelling and whatnot.

I hope our neighbors don't hate me for allowing that.

Freak Weather and Other "Stuff"

Yesterday was BEAUTIFUL. Not too hot. Not too cold. Not windy. Just enough breeze. So unlike this part of Idaho.

Gma and Gpa J brought over Missy and Goobers birthday present (a play set) in the morning and We promptly started working on it. They also brought my grandpa "Grumpy" with them for a visit.

I enjoy projects like this, they get my mind working on something I can physically see the progress on. Like a giant jigsaw puzzle. :)

The kids loved to help out as much as they could. Little EB sure has a knack for mechanical reasoning already. Boy did he love the socket wrench and tightening bolts. Even when one of us wasn't helping him he was always picking up tools and trying to use them. And not just anyway, but the correct way! Crazy!

I was kinda dumb though... I didn't put sunscreen on ANYONE. Was too busy doing the giant puzzle to take a moment for that! Ya know....
.
Jer and I both got burned pretty badly, but actually the kids made out pretty well. Goober was a little pink last night, but it's faded now. Missy wasn't ever pink, and EB is still a little pink.

I seriously considered going back out to work on the play set this morning (I really do enjoy it!) but I looked out the window and it was..... SNOWING.
.
What the frack!?

Oh, well, maybe tomorrow :)
