If you would like to link to us go right ahead, I do ask though that if you know us in real life that you use my kids blog names if you refer to them. I don't use them in my blog or the title for safety purposes. Thanks so much!

Reverse Stalking???
So I know that there are proper safety precautions to take to keep your family safe on the good ol' net. Hence this blog not being included on search sites, not having our real last name, and not using my children's real first names ... I know, some of you may think.... sheesh she is a little narcissistic! YES I AM! The paparazzi are out to get me!
No but really, I'm a little paranoid! Just watch me when any of my children get near a window well. HOLY CRAP do I get jumpy! If G so much as runs past the window well at closer that 2 feet away ... BAM! All Nerves.. he could fall into that thing and break his neck. SO what is the odds of that happening are less than him having a career in professional gymnastics??? I'm the same way with stairs BTW.
My poor children are going to be neurotic if I have anything to do with it!
Soooooo.... Back to the topic. If any of you noticed, one of my favorite bloggers commented on the site yesterday. I had no idea how she found my blog... apparently I'm a newb! I did leave a comment on her site the other day (I think) but I never comment with my blogger user name on sites of people I don't know personally. I don't want to advertise to people that might be browsing their blogs that I am here by doing that and giving them an easy link to this here little site. I have no CLUE who may be scanning the sites... know what I mean?
So I emailed her... and she was kind enough to respond and let me know how she found me. Apparently you can do searches of websites who have certain links. For instance she searched her own websites address (hollywoodflakes.blogspot.com) and it came up that I had linked to her site. So she checked it out. Which is fine by me... she is a hilarious Mormon mom who seams to be pretty straight forward, I just wanted to make sure I hadn't put a link in accidentally... KWIM?? (Know What I Mean).
So, Just for in formations sake... if you love a website and link to it, there are ways for BIG BROTHER TO FIND YOU!!! ;)
PS Some such websites are www.technorati.com and www.statcounter.com

If you want to make a comment but don't know how!
Do you see under this post where it says "0 comments" or some other insanely low number? If you click on those specific words the site will take you to a comment area. On the top right hand side of that page there is a spot for you to type... leave something random .... ie "Yes, Mary Poppins must have been a Wiccan" then if you don't have a google account put in your name or something people would know you by .... ie "Smohn Jith" or be snarky and put a dot next to "anonymus" and then click the orange button that says "Publish Your Comment". TADA!!! Fabulously done young jedi!
Now LEAVE MORE COMMENTS DANGIT! Yes that means you!

Gordon B. Hinckley

Last night at about 7:30 one of histories truely great men passed on to meet his maker and help watch over us all. He was a great example of love and grand at inspiring others to strive to live life better. He will be sorely missed.

Feeling Better Already!
Wow, a little exercise can do a lot!
I never have been one to exercise on a regular basis... I did a little as a teen and in college but life would get in the way and I wouldn't "make" time to do it so I would always fall off the horse (figuratively speaking).
Well, people are right, it does feel good! Why is it that I dreaded it so much? It helps my whole day go smoother! That and suddenly I have all this energy.
For instance, after a day full of moving furniture all around the house to make room for Gavin to have his own room downstairs, Jer and I took the kids to Wal-Mart (aka Voldemort) to get a couple of last minute things. What we wanted was out so out the door we went with our 2 carts and 3 kids (boys in one girls in the other)... before I knew it Jer and I were racing carts, running full speed to the truck. The kids thought it was a blast and I actually wasn't winded afterwords.
The whole racing thing doesn't happen very often because I used to find that even after a short run I was so winded I would cough and cough especially if the air outside was cold. NOT LAST NIGHT THOUGH! Hooray! I thought it was fun... even afterwords when I usually would have been huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf! Yay for exercise and not feeling like a slightly deflated basketball that someone is trying to bounce but that they have to throw extra hard just to get it to do what it is supposed to do with no problem.
Now I'm starting to feel like the perky cheerleader on speed.... YIPPEE, GO US!
