Ummmm I Think You HEAR With Your Ears Bud....

This is The Energizer Bunny....

Guess what game he is playing...

I DARE you...

No, really, guess....

Peek-a-boo.

That's right... the game most children play by covering their eyes.

When he first started covering his ears pretty often I wondered if it was a sign of an ear infection or something.

Yup, it was the "or something" part of that.

The kid is just strange.

I'm pretty sure it runs in the family. (no offense intended family... no really NO OFFENSE!!! Awwww crap now I've done it haven't I? :D )

I adore him though. He is quirky and I love that about him. Stubborn as all get out, yes, but quirky enough to make me want to keep my sanity through it all. Which, honestly is saying A LOT.

Since Goober has a new good friend that he likes to play with, there are times that Missy feels a little left out. Like when Goober and Bee go to play at Bee's house for a while... and Missy isn't invited.

It's not that Missy doesn't play well with the kids here... just that Bee is Goober's Friend and is an only child. Bee doesn't really get the whole younger sibling thing and I think she gets overloaded sometimes with Missy tagging along in their play, so she wants to go play with Goober at her house.

With Goober being our oldest child I, as a parent, have never had to deal with this before. Also, I am 5 years younger than my closest sibling... so I don't remember how my parents dealt with this.

I need to find Missy her own friend that lives nearby, but don't know of any yet.

For you "seasoned" parents out there... and for you not so "seasoned" that have good ideas.... what do/would you do with this situation?

Moving....

Wow, can I say that we are tired of moving now? :D

Jer helped Az and her little fam move back into their house today... so that makes 3 weeks of constant lifting and straining for Jer. I think he may be done for a little while...

Needless to say we are going to miss having this cute little guy around every morning :)

Poor Kidlet.

Goober has been having a hard time adjusting to all the changes lately. He's been acting up a bit and I worry about what to do for him. Any Ideas?

If I Ever Have Another Son...

I may just consider naming him Bill.

That way maybe he can just write a note that says "you owe me.... XXXX amount of money" and people will have to pay him.

That would be nice for him... eh?

I would love that.

"give me your money"

"okay, here you go. how much do I owe?"

Ka-ching, Ka-ching, Ka-ching

ok, I'm a nerd, I admit it. I just have to do bills tonight.... fun fun (can you FEEL the sarcasm???)

Happy Belated Halloween

Yes, I am WONDER WOMAN!!!
er.... not exactly...

But I DID manage to do everything for the kids for Halloween even though we were in the midst of moving loads of CRAP. That's right. LOADS.

Now you all know I'm not just full of it, I'm surrounded by it at most times as well :)

We ended up having to have 2 storage units for all of it. UGH. And I still get to clean everything on Monday. Can we get a great big sarcastic yaaaaaaay?

Anyhow, I thought I would put up a couple of pictures of Halloween pumpkins and such, since I'm so uber proud of the fact that I found time to do them with the kidlets :)

(Goobers is left, Energizers is middle, and Missy's is right)

(this picture was taken when we first got the costumes... I figured you already saw a cute one of the Wooky back then ... here are the Clone Trooper, and Padme too, I was struggling to get any picture with all three kids... hence Padme looking drugged lol)

Being a slacker....

yes, that is what I'm being.

I should be packing more of our crap so we can get it into a storage unit.

I thought I should do a little post to let everyone know our plans....

First off....

No, we don't have another house. Yet.

We are going to stay with the in-laws till the loan is approved and we find a house etc... this will be really nice cause Goober will still go to the same school and still be able to ride a bus there. I actually think it may be that SAME bus :) I have to check though. It IS only about 4 blocks south of our house now.

Second....

We are still going to go to church at the same bat place and the same bat time... don't want to mess with the kids normal stuff any more than I have to. I really don't want to deal with potty training recession and bad grades in school.

Third....

I really don't want to loose contacts with the wonderful people that we have met while living here. I totally adore them. Playgroup is a highlight for my kids when we make it... and a highlight for me when my the Energizer Bunny isn't uber cranky because it's his normal nap time. I ADORE girls nights out and book club. Just cause I may not end up in the 'hood doesn't mean I wouldn't take a 20-30 min drive across town to see you great people!

Fourth...

we will still have our same phone number. It will be on voice mail for a while, but I will TOTALLY check it DAILY. Probably multiple times... cause I'm nuts like that. And for those of you who know my last name... those in-laws I'm staying with. SAME LAST NAME. And they are the ONLY other ones in our phone book. Look it up if you want to. I would love to hear from ya!

That's it till the next "I'm a lazy butt" or "I'm WAAAYYYY out of shape" break.

Tata, must get movin!
