What is it about a parent sitting or laying on the floor that is a instant kid magnet? And same thing with cameras... as soon as a parent picks one up it's instantly "Mom/Dad can I see?" or "Take a picture of me!" lol I mean... REALLY! ... I often wonder what my kids would think if I pulled out my old 35mm camera. I mean, goodness! you can't even see the picture you just took. And heaven forbid that you actually have to wait a WHOLE hour (or *gulp* a WHOLE day) to see the pictures!
I made the "mistake" today of doing both, I picked up the camera and sat on the floor. Instantly I was a jungle gym! LOL

very true. also, my kids will be doing something cute and the moment I get the camera out, they stop. go figure.
When I brought the camera down yesterday to upload pictures, Jake's all, "Mom, take a picture of me with my light saber." And because I'm a mean mom, I replied, "Honey, I have about 30 pictures of you with your light saber. Later." Yeah, they like to look at the pictures afterwards, too. And Pete IS a human jungle gym.
My kids always "want to see," right after I've taken a picture. It's interesting to think of the world they're growing up in. The internet has always existed in their lifetime. They won't ever remember having pictures taken of them with a normal, film-filled camera.
and now it looks like the internet may be outdated by the time they are in highschool... "The Grid" will be the thing... ugh
