Oh Spring... Where ARE you?

Yeah, so night before last it stormed.

it not only stormed but it rained and blew, and blew and rained. Which, when you have a tall house with no wind break makes for a very noisy night. Poor Jer only got 2 hours of sleep that night.... well until I let him go back to bed at about 10am till 2. Yup 2.... PM.

Anyhow, I thought that was going to be the worst of it.

I was wrong.

Not only did the stormy, windiness continue... it turned blizzard on us. What the.... I WANT SPRING DANGIT!!!

My dad flew out of town yesterday (I have no clue how the plane took off in that mess) and I invited mom over for dinner... cause hey, we were going to cook anyways, and why make her cook for only her? Anyhow, I was glad she made it to our home safely. Apparently the drive down had nearly white out conditions. Blech

It finally stopped storming. But now there is snow on the ground. Yuck. And even though I think there is a fair chance it may melt somehow I don't think that fence that I scheduled is going to be installed today. Boooooo!

Yeah, we moved our trampoline outside, thinking it was starting to be spring. It's gotten snowed on, like, 3 times since! Grr.

Oooh, you're getting a fence? Lucky girl! I want a fence oh, so badly. We have a crappy chicken wire fence. It looks like junk. This weather makes me want to punch something. My crocuses, which bloomed so prettily earlier this month, are now dead. Dead, dead, dead. The hailstones pummeled them, and they have frozen and thawed, frozen and thawed, too much. Grrr. I think spring here is worse than winter.
