If you would like to link to us go right ahead, I do ask though that if you know us in real life that you use my kids blog names if you refer to them. I don't use them in my blog or the title for safety purposes. Thanks so much!

Soon to be in Kindergarten

Yup, He's soon going to be old enough to be in Kindergarten! G turns the big 5 this June and today we went to get him Preregistered for kindergarten. Wow, time flies! The above picture is of him in his new Easter clothes that he wore yesterday due to the fact that on Easter Sunday we will be in Utah.

My Mom is Creative.

So this is my kids after multipule potty accidents at my mom's house. They had no more pants or undies to wear by the time we left. So my mom got creative to make sure their legs didn't get cold going out to the car.... these are two pair of her excersise pants rolled up with safety pins and tied REALLY tight.
And here I was thinking I'd heat up the car and carry them out REALLY fast LOL

Grandpa's Funky Sense of Humor
So today my grandpa was visiting my mom. So I took a trip up there to say hi, since I haven't seen him in a long time. Probably since my step grandma passed away.He is now living with his sister and her son and a little while ago he needed a new car. He was trying to get a VW bug that was diesel. Unfortunately those are hard to come by... so he decided to buy a Hundai. But being kind of quirky and having extra time he decided to take his "piece of shit" car (sorry his words) and turn it into a beamer. LOL He even went to the effort to get a license plate holder that was from a BMW dealership.
When asked why he would do that he responded "about 50% of people won't know the difference and the other 50% will think it's humorous." That's my grandpa... the guy who responds the LDS bishop when asked what religion grandpa is "Buddist" or maybe it's "Muslim" now.... just for the reaction.

Bleeding noses, snarky kids, and realtors!

So, today has been one of THOSE days.
L woke up at 6:30am again... bad time for him to wake up, makes it hard for me to get a shower before getting G and M up. Oh well, I can handle that. So as I'm feeding him my nose decides it's going to put in it's two cents (or sense ... haha I'm so punny! :P ) and decides to start bleeding.... and not just a little bit. Out the window goes my chance for a shower before getting up the older kids.
As I'm getting the two older kids ready for the day, G informs me that he doesn't want to go to preschool today. "sorry bud, Your job is to go to preschool, Mine is to keep the house running, Daddy's is to go to work, M's is to learn to use the potty, and L's is to grow and be healthy."
M had an accident (icky) at Gma S's house while G was at preschool. At least L got a good nap there.
On the way to pick up G from Preschool My lovely bloody nose decides to make another cameo appearance... :P
Gma decided to take us to lunch which went ok till the end at which point G wouldn't get out from under the table and then insisted that he wanted to go home with Gma S. "Sorry G, we have to go to Sam's for diapers and stamps then home." for M's nap ... though I omitted that part seeing that Missy was right there and I didn't want her to start in too.
G proceeds to have have a snit. refusing to put on his seat belt etc, then at Sam's he proceeds to hang from the cart dragging his feet alomg the floor... grrr. Now I'm definately NOT considering going to Gma S's house again. I warn him to change his attitude or he will end up with a nap as well..... 1.........2.........and at the checkout 3! It's official he is taking a nap.
On the way home he decideds to be good, and tells me as he is getting out of the car "Mom, I'm being good now." uh-huh.... once inside I ask him to use the restroom... snarkdom breaks loose again. I end up carrying my 4 year old screaming to his bedroom.
I then proceed to put M and L down for their naps. Ahhhhh peace...
Nope, and here I thought I might have the rare occasion to catch a power nap as well! Mwhahaha.... Life is a booger! I lay down and 5 min later I hear M playing in her room... ok I'll try to ignore her and pretend to sleep. Thunk. She's now jumping off of her bed. Sigh. Up I get. "sweetie, stop playing and go to sleep please." ... lay down again, it's just a speed bump right? .... 5 min later the phone rings.
"Hi this is Some Obscure Realtor, I see that your MLS list expired, are you planing on listing your house again soon?" It's now up for sale with Assist-to-sell thank you "Oh, well can I sent you my card in the mail so that if you decide to list it with a realtor again you can have my name?" ummmm it IS listed with a realtor it's just not on the MLS for a few.... fine, sure send me your stuff. (just let me sleep!!!) .... peace for 2 min... Our realtor calls and says there is a couple that should be able to come through at about 5:30 or 6. Ok excuse to leave for dinner.... click.
rustle, rustle... L is awake. Ok, I should know better than to try to sleep! lol
Maybe I can still get a hot shower... xfingers.

Yes, Apparently I'm a trader...

Ok, so most of the time if you mention the game "World of Warcraft" in public you get really different reactions depending on the gender you are talking to.
If you happen to be speaking to a group of women you usually get irritation and a bit of "wife aggro" coming through. (BTW Wife aggro = Angry wife's that are usually upset or suspicious of the amount of time their husbands or significant others spend on a particular COMPUTER GAME.)
If you happen to be speaking to a group of guys you will get at least a few if not a lot of questions about what "class" you play and on what "realm" (Class = race, Realm = server). Or if the guy doesn't play you may get questions about how to avoid said "wife aggro" or maybe other specifics about the game.
Being a girl I'm usually expected to be in the "wife aggro" category. But low and behold... I too love the game. In fact, many an evening after the kidlets are in bed you may find Jer and I sitting in front of our computers beating the crap out of unsuspecting "horde", or "questing" for better gear.
I'll admit, at one point I was a little upset by the amount of time Jer spent playing... then we made some rules about playing when the kids are up etc. And I ... be devious like I am :oP decided to make a character for the sneaky objective of finding out what a reasonable amount of time would be to ask Jer to get off! (the game is in real time so it can't just be paused ... you actually have to logg off or find somewhere safe for a few minutes till you can get back)
Well, needless to say, I got hooked! So yes ladies ... I am a trader to that bain called WoW.
Now I guess I'll go clean till the server maintenance is done!

I cut my hair because......
I found that usually the only thing I ever did with my hair was put it up in a ponytail. I was in too much of a hurry to take the 15-20min to actually DO my hair. I figured short hair would FORCE me to do my hair. No more ponytails possible.
Well, I chopped it. On Friday I took the plunge I hacked the whole bit off.... if you look at my 3rd to last post it has tons of pictures of me with different haircuts. Well I chopped it to look a lot like the one with me in the bright stripped shirt. :o)
Well, this morning I was in a rush and figured once I got home from dropping G at preschool I might exercise and definitely clean. (our realtor is changing tomorrow) So I coped out. Yes, already. I didn't do my hair. And because of the lack of possibility for the ponytail.... what did I do you may ask?
Yes, I dug out a HAT! Seriously!
